Corey was born and raised in Deaver, a small town nestled in northern Wyoming. After attending Northwest College in nearby Powell, he took a bold leap across the country to pursue his passion for the culinary arts, enrolling in a culinary school in Dover, New Hampshire, with a focus on classic French Cuisine.
Corey's culinary career took him to world-class kitchens, including a role as a chef at Pebble Beach in California and later at Amangani in Jackson, Wyoming - both known for their high standards and refined menus. In 2009, Corey moved to Logan, Utah, where he played a key role in opening the Beehive Grill. It was during this time that he met his wife Kimberly; the two were married in 2011.
He later joined the Utah State University's culinary department, overseeig the operations of the Skyroom restaurant and further honing his leadership in food services and hopsitality.
In 2018, seeking a lifestyle shift and new challenges, Corey and Kimberly moved with their thress sons from Logan Valley to the scenic Ogden Valley. There, Corey transitioned from culinary arts to landscape architecture, joinging forces with Kevin Linsley at Valley Design Build. Blending creativity with functionality, Corey brought his eye for design and detail to outdoor spaces and residential environments.
in 2024, Corey took the next step in his entreprenurial joureny and founding Dip-a new chapter that reflects his continued passion for innovation, design and building expeiriences that bring people together.
Kevin is a proud father, devoted husband, and driven entrepreneur with a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a strong commitment to his community. Known for his integrity, creativity, and hands-on approach, Kevin brings passion and purpose to everything he does—whether he's building a business, spending time with his family, or giving back to those around him.
With an entrepreneurial spirit that’s guided much of his professional life, Kevin thrives on turning ideas into action. He’s dedicated to creating meaningful impact through hard work, thoughtful leadership, and a genuine desire to solve problems and serve others.
Outside of his work, Kevin finds peace and inspiration in nature. He enjoys hiking, camping, and just about any activity that gets him outdoors and reconnected with the world around him. Nature not only fuels his personal passions but also helps shape his values and perspective.
Equally important to Kevin is his deep-rooted love for his community. Whether through volunteering, supporting local causes, or mentoring others, he believes in the power of community and the importance of showing up for the people who make it special.
